The symposium "1st International Symposium on Family and Education Policies (working title)" will contribute to bringing together very different experts from the fields of family and education legislation, educational research, psychology and educational research in an interdisciplinary manner within the framework of an international specialist symposium and thus the scientific To promote exchange and international networking. It is astonishing how little developed the cross-disciplinary networks actually are, especially with Anglo-American experts. The selection of the technical topics is based on current and controversial topics from family legislation, from the education sector and from educational practice with relevance for families in Germany and Europe.

The venue is the Landesschule Pforta in Naumburg - a world-renowned boarding school with gifted education. Binding commitments for conference contributions currently exist from Prof. Dr. Heiner Rindermann(Chemnitz University) and Prof. Dr. Larzelere (Oklahoma State University, USA). Speakers are currently being requested for other exciting topics. A press conference will be organized to communicate standpoints on family and education policies to the public.
